Teams & Athletes
Tajiriba Africa is a sports marketing platform that helps African athletes, teams, and sports organizations raise funds, secure sponsorships, and promote their careers through crowdfunding.
The platform is open to:
- Individual athletes
- Sports teams and clubs
- Sports organizations and federations
- Schools and institutions
- Fans and supporters who want to fund sports initiatives
Users create fundraising campaigns explaining their needs, set a fundraising goal, and share their campaigns with potential donors. Funders can contribute via mobile money, credit/debit cards, or other payment options available.
Tajiriba Africa supports all sports, you just need to create a fundraising campaign for your preferred sport.
To create a campaign:
- Sign up on Tajiriba Africa
- Complete your profile and verify your identity
- Click "Start a Campaign" and fill in the required details
- Set your fundraising target and duration
- Share your campaign with potential supporters
To ensure the authenticity of users and maintain trust within the platform, we advise all clubs and athletes to complete an account verification process before launching fundraising campaigns or accessing sponsorship opportunities.
Yes, a 10% platform fee is deducted from successfully raised funds to cover operational costs.
Funders can contribute using:
- Mpesa
- Airtel Money
- Equitel
- USSD
- Visa/Mastercard
- PayPal
Funds raised may still be disbursed, or the campaign organizer may choose to relaunch the campaign with revised targets.
Once a campaign ends and is reviewed, funds are typically disbursed within 5 business days.
Yes! Tajiriba Africa offers incentives such as coupons, exclusive merchandise, and event tickets for top funders to encourage continued support.
Beyond crowdfunding, Tajiriba Africa connects athletes and teams with potential sponsors through its sports marketing services.

Affiliate Program
By joining the Tajiriba Africa Affiliate Program you become one of our affiliate marketers, which allows you to earn commissions by sharing funding campaigns from our platform. Every time someone donates through your unique affiliate link, you earn a commission based on the donated amount.
Anyone passionate about supporting African sports, education, and community development can join — including individuals, bloggers, influencers, organizations, and sports personalities.
You can sign up by filling out the Affiliate Registration Form on our website. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you'll receive a unique affiliate link and access to your dashboard.
You earn 2% of every successful donation made through your referral link. There's no limit to the number of donations you can refer — the more you share and promote, the more you earn!
Each affiliate receives a unique referral link. When someone clicks your link and makes a donation within 30 days, the system automatically attributes that donation to you.
Affiliate commissions are paid once a campaign comes to an end. We process affiliate payouts once on the 5th day of every month. Payouts are made through M-Pesa, Airtel Money, PayPal, or Bank Transfer.
Yes, you need to have earned a minimum of KES1,000 or its currency equivalent before you can request a payout.
Yes! As long as they make the donation within 30 days of clicking your affiliate link, you'll still receive credit and earn a commission.
No. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Any affiliate found referring themselves to earn commissions will be disqualified from the program.
You can log into your Affiliate Dashboard at any time to view:
- Donations referred
- Commissions earned
- Payment history
- Promotional materials
Yes! We provide:

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to share your affiliate link on:

Violations like self-referrals, fraudulent activity, or spam promotion can result in:
- Cancellation of commissions
- Suspension or permanent removal from the program
Your account stays active as long as you remain engaged and follow our program rules. If you stay inactive for 6 months without any referrals, your account may be closed.
