JOURNEY TO 100
Ashraf finished school. Then the structure vanished.
Ashraf is eighteen, straight out of boarding school in Kilifi County. For four years his life had structure: wake-up bells, classes, coaches, three meals a day and a rugby pitch he could call his own. Then his KCSE results came in, and it all disappeared overnight. No pitch. No coach. No path.
Kenya's exam system measures the footballer and the runner by the same yardstick as the accountant. Employers value discipline, leadership and resilience under pressure. Without support at the right moment, that potential goes unrealised. Journey To 100 exists to change that, for 100 athletes in Year One.
