Start at City Mall, run along Mombasa Malindi highway to Pirates beach junction and back to City Mall finish.

Distance: 5km
10Km Run

Start at City Mall, run along Mombasa Malindi highway to Severene Hotel junction and back to City Mall finish.

Distance: 10km
21Km Run

Start at City Mall, run along Mombasa Malindi highway through PrideInn Hotel route to Mtwapa Bridge and back to City Mall finish.

Distance: 21km (Half Marathon)

All routes are along Mombasa Malindi highway with designated U-turn points

Building Dignity at Shimo la Tewa

At Tajiriba Africa, we believe that sports can transform lives but only when the spaces where young people train, play, and grow are safe and accessible.

Every week, hundreds of young athletes gather at Shimo la Tewa Community Sports Ground in Shanzu, Mombasa. They train hard, dream big, and stay away from negative influences. But they lack something basic: proper sanitation facilities. Many boys and girls still change or relieve themselves in nearby bushes. This compromises their dignity, health, and safety.

KSh 2,500,000

Target to build a complete ablution block with separate facilities for boys and girls, running water, and changing rooms.
